About VaaniLibrary

VaaniLibrary (ਵਾਣੀ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ · वाणी लाइब्रेरी) is a free library of sacred and poetic voices: Hindu mantras, Sikh Gurbani, and Punjabi poetry. Each page brings together the original text, a transliteration, a translation, a short meaning, and a recording, so you can read along, listen, and recite.

How recordings are made. Our recordings are AI-assisted and checked for pronunciation and accuracy. Every Gurbani recording is reviewed and approved before it is published.

With respect. Gurbani is presented without background music and without images of the Gurus. Mantras are presented with traditional, respectful imagery. We aim to honour every text and tradition we share.

Corrections and feedback. If you hear a pronunciation error or find a mistake in the text or translation, please write to hello@vaanilibrary.org with the page link, and we will correct it.
